Chilli Festival Melbourne

Part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival the Herb and Chilli Festival was born from the excellence in nursery growing in the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges. The Annual Festival has been been running for the past four years and has grown each year, with the 2015 event attracting around 5000 people over the weekend.

The Festival is a celebration of herbs and chillies and their role in our lifes. What better way to experience and learn more about these exciting plants. Visitors to the event can learn how to grow them, taste them and use them in everyday life. There are talks and demostrations from experts along with some great entertainment with music and dance from around the world.

Browse in and out of more than 60 stalls, selling all types of delicious international dishes from Mexico, Turkey, Tibet, South America, Nepal, the list goes on…Try mouth watering chilli, Southern BBQ, hand made ice cream, the freshest local berries, exotic cakes and plenty more. And to wash it down, they serve real ales, chilli beer, fine local wines, specialty wines such as kiwifruit wine, superb juices, refreshing slushies, and great coffee.

Come and visit Hot Sauce Alley full of fantastic vendors with some super hot sauces. A real treat for the foodies.
