About the Organizers
Local artist Lyndsey Marston creates and sells original artwork under the name 3 Legged Dog Ink. Her artwork celebrates the simplicities in life, and everyday moments of life in Maine. Her husband is an Orland native, and Lyndsey has been eyeing the Bucksport Waterfront for several years as a perfect art festival location. Since returning to the area in 2014.
For her love of art and the town of Bucksport, Laurie Brooks has partnered with Lyndsey in organizing the 2016 Bucksport Arts Festival. Laurie is an avid house renovator, illustrator, sewer, and expressive artist. A transplant from southern and central Maine, she has embraced Buckport as her hometown and established One Summer Studio at her home, which is within walking distance of the waterfront
