The Melbourne Craft Beer and Food Festival hosts huge variety of the very best Craft Brewers and Cider-makers Australia-wide, with over 250 Brews and Ciders to sample. See our for an announced list and feel free to contact us with questions.

Do you accept credit cards?

Credit cards will be accepted at the Front Gate for entrance tickets and at limited stalls. There will be ATMs available on site as well.

Will we need to purchase tokens

Please note that there will be NO TOKENS at the Festival. All purchases will be in AUD cash unless with limited stalls offering EFTPOS services as well. ATM’s will be available on site.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, please feel free to bring the entire family along. We do our best to ensure the Festival is family friendly. Kids 17 & under have free entry when accompanied by parents.

Will there be Entertainment

Yes, there will be live music, comedy and other forms of entertainment throughout the entire weekend. Please visit our set times closer to the date for detailed entertainment information

What and When are the Masterclasses

Masterclasses offer an exciting up-close and personal way for beer experts to share their knowledge, experience and passion for all things craft beer. Our masster-classes or as we like to call them “beer education” sessions will take place every hour throughout the each festival, finishing at approximately 7pm.
The Master classes will be announced very close to the festival, obviously they require some planning. These sessions include, but are not limited:

  • Master Brewer Forums
  • Beer/Food matching
  • Beer Appreication
  • Home/ Commercial Brewing discussions
  • Industry experiences

Will there be any competitions at the Festival?

Yes! People’s Choice Awards – The Melbourne Craft Beer and Food Festival will be hosting the inaugural People’s Choice Awards, where you will be given the opportunity to cast your vote for the best of the best Brewer at 2016 Festival. Voting for this will be available while the festival is happening, with the winner announced towards the end of the day.

Will there be any food and non-alcoholic beverages available?

Yes! There will be a variety of amazing food, water, coconut water, juices and soft drinks available for purchase on site. Complimentary water stations will also be provided.

Will there Pass Outs?

While you’re out and about, we recommend you take some time to experience the sites and sounds, culture and arts of St. Kilda and Port Phillip. See the Port Phillip Attractions page for more information.

Public Transport Options

Trams – Catch tram number 3a, 16 or 96 along Fitzroy St and The Esplanade or catch tram number 112 to the corner of Park St and Fitzroy St then walk one block south toward the intersection of Fitzroy St and Beaconsfield Pde / The Esplanade. Catani Garden is across the road.

Bus – Bus route 606 (Fishermans Bend – Elsternwick) travels along Parks St, Fitzroy and Jacka Blvd passing the gardens enroute.

Parking

Paid and restricted street parking is available along Fitzroy Street, Beaconsfield Parade and Pier Road, Check signage and meters for parking restrictions or call ASSIST for specific parking information – (03) 9209 6777. Private underground parking is available in the St Kilda Sea Baths complex.

Smoking Policy

The MelbourneCraft Beer Festival is a non-smoking Festival. Designated areas will be signposted throughout the site.

Intoxicated Guests

We want to you to have fun, but please do so responsibly for your sake and for ours.
We expect all guests of the Melbourne Craft Beer and Food Festival to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the facility.
Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entry to the facility.
Any guest found intoxicated within the event and causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the site without refund and may be subject to further consequences.

Can I bring my pet

 However, sometimes
 our 
little
 friends
 can make people 
uncomfortable 
or 
become
a 
health
 problem
 where 
food
 is
 around so we just can’t let them on site. If there is a medical need for your pet, please contact us to organize in advance.

Prohibited Items

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Outside alcohol
  • Bottles
  • Cans
  • Outside food/beverages
  • Weapons (i.e. knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, any concealed weapons, firearms, etc.)
  • Illegal drugs
  • Chemicals
  • Fireworks, smoke bombs, etc.
  • Backpacks, suitcases, large beach bags, etc.
  • Skateboards, roller skates, ice skates, use of roller shoes, etc.
  • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
  • Other items as determined by event organisers

Terms and conditions of entry

Event management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis. Depending on the item, the guest may either be asked to remove the item from the facility or dispose of the item, or may be ejected from the facility.
All bags, jackets, and guests are subject to search upon entering the event.
Items which have varying policies include: cameras, video/ audio recording equipment, and signs/ flags/ banners/ posters.
