Event Description:Join us for the 34th running of the Downtown Melbourne 5K Run and Walk.

This race is unique in that men and women race separately. The women will start at 7:30AM with the men to follow at 8:15AM. The youth series run will be at 9AM and include a 1/4, 1/2 and mile run.

This is a Space Coast Runners’ Runner of the Year (ROY) Event.

Beneficiary: The Haven

The Haven for Children operates three Florida licensed residential group homes providing long term residential care as well as urgent shelter care for infants, children and teens who have been removed from their family because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

Our mission is to help our children develop trust, confidence and self-worth in a nurturing family environment. We will provide the children of The Haven with the education, life skills and opportunities required to encourage positive choices in order to reach their full potential and will inspire hope, independence and a sense of community.
